Arriving at Domaine de Camboyer means being greeted by a unique and lush natural environment. With avenues lined with plane trees or lime trees, a verdant and flower-filled meadow, ponds adorned with water lilies, and a park with centuries-old trees, one cannot help but appreciate the tranquility and beauty of the surroundings. This living sanctuary invites us to reconnect with Mother Nature: we listen to the birds singing, we open our eyes to admire the dance of the tree frogs, emblems of this historic place.
Nestled in this green haven is La Maison Camboyer, an elegant and authentic hotel with 15 rooms and suite. Facing La Maison stand Les Demeures, three exceptional, fully privatizable cottages. Each of these places combines modern comfort with the elegance of noble and historic materials.
The history of Domaine de Camboyer dates back to the 17th century when Pierre-Paul Riquet presented his ingenious project, the Canal des Deux Mers, to the Sun King. La Maison Camboyer was the residence of a Flemish-origin family, the de Reynes. Legend has it that Barthélémy de Reynes played a part in the construction of the Canal and that the Domaine was his reward for his contribution.
Proudly displayed on the fireplace in the main lounge are two tree frogs, the heraldic symbols of the de Reynes family.

Built at the end of the 17th century, the main building now houses our prestigious hotel, featuring 15 rooms and suite, 2 breakfast rooms, and 4 themed lounges.
Just a few meters away, nestled between the Domaine’s main courtyard and a vast meadow, are 3 charming cottages with private terraces: Le Pigeonnier (The Dovecote), La Ferme (The Farmhouse), and La Grange (The Barn). Each of our residences can accommodate 6 to 8 people.
