At Domaine de Camboyer, we believe that it is the simplest gestures that mean the most. Welcoming, sharing, and caring—for our guests as well as for our environment. Through thoughtful, local, and artisanal choices, we are committed to offering a stay where well-being goes hand in hand with respect for nature, without compromising on comfort or authenticity.
Thoughtful gestures, planned down to the smallest detail
Every detail of your stay is designed to minimize our environmental impact while showcasing local craftsmanship.
When you arrive, you’ll choose your bar of soap, handcrafted in the Tarn by Louise Émoi and then carefully wrapped in a scrap of fabric provided by our seamstress.
As part of this same experience, you can enjoy a pillow mist provided in your room, made from rosa geranium harvested in the meadow.
Local products take center stage—in your glass and on your plate!
Because eating well is also a statement of commitment, our Chef Véronique offers hearty, authentic regional cuisine made with local, seasonal ingredients.
At the bar, you’ll find a selection of artisanal beverages: beers and lemonades from Les Brasseurs de la Cité, artisanal fruit juices and syrups, as well as a selection of Occitan wines. For breakfast, we prioritize bulk items and local producers: honey from our meadow, Confitures de la Cité jams, local cheeses and cold cuts, and “homemade” cakes.
Natural, simple decor made with love
Our decor is also part of our commitment to sustainability. You’ll discover bouquets of dried and preserved flowers, created by Valérie of Flora Poésie, as well as delicate herbariums made from plants and flowers picked in the meadow by Lidwine— Le Temps d’un Pétale.
The furniture at the estate is sourced from antique shops and then restored, giving a second life to unique pieces steeped in history and character.
Through these simple actions, the Domaine de Camboyer reaffirms its commitment to offering a more responsible experience, rooted in its local community and respectful of its environment. We believe that a stay can be comfortable, authentic, and socially responsible all at once. What if, together, we made every moment we share another step toward more sustainable and mindful tourism?
